Values
The Jack W. Crum Memorial Foundation focus is to continue to show the love for the sport of baton twirling that Jack Crum demonstrated for the sport for more than 60 years.
Jack was the most generous supporter of baton twirling athletes. Jack always provided financial support to Athletes going to World Competitions or competing at state and local competitions. The Foundation will strive to honor his memory and continue to support baton twirling in a way Jack would have wanted.
Jack was involved in baton twirling following his graduation from high school. Jack attended Butler University in Indianapolis, IN and Eastern Kentucky University. He completed his degree in 2011 by graduating from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. Following his early college days Jack began teaching baton twirling and had numerous National Champions. Jack then became the Executive Director of the United States Twirling Association. He was also a founding member of the World Baton Twirling Federation. Jack then became a partner and eventual owner of the Star Line Baton Co., Inc.
Through his years at Star Line Jack established many programs to aid athletes and to help with their expenses while traveling to represent the sport of baton twirling. Jack also continued the tradition at Star Line of providing the top coaches in the world with coaching opportunities to help introduce the sport of baton twirling to countries across the World.
